3rd Engineer for VLCC Vessel

Job Description

Bluejacketship Management Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Third Engineer for a VLCC tanker. Candidates with large-GRT tanker experience and complete, valid documentation are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects to senior engineers.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Support machinery repairs and ensure equipment is operated safely.
• Maintain engine-room records and follow onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position – Panama.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Proven experience on large-GRT tankers.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Complete and valid seafarer’s documents.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 3,600–4,000 per month
• Joining: 2 November 2026
• Location: Singapore
