3rd Engineer for Tanker / Bulk Carrier / Container Carrier Vessels

Job Description

Minerva Marine Agency, Inc. is recruiting Third Engineers to support safe and efficient engine department operations aboard tanker, bulk, and container vessels.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects to senior engineers.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Support repairs and ensure tools and equipment are used safely.
• Maintain accurate engine-room records.

Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant seagoing experience.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Complete and valid seafarer’s documents and certificates.
