3rd Engineer for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Third Engineers to join a bulk carrier vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery and auxiliary systems.
• Monitor machinery performance and report technical defects to senior engineers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and support machinery repairs.
• Ensure compliance with engine-room safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate engine-room records and follow the Chief Engineer’s instructions.

Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience on bulk carrier vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.
