Job Description

South Point is seeking two experienced 3rd Engineers to join an LNG Bunker Vessel operating in Singapore waters.

The successful candidates will support the engineering team with the operation, inspection and maintenance of engine-room machinery and auxiliary systems, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Carry out routine inspections and planned maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report equipment abnormalities.
• Support the safe operation of onboard systems, including LNG-related equipment within the assigned duties.
• Maintain maintenance records and comply with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Malaysian nationality – mandatory.
• Previous experience onboard LNG vessels – mandatory.
• Valid engineering CoC and endorsements appropriate to the rank.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable medical fitness certification.
• Valid passport and seaman’s book.
• Relevant experience as a 3rd Engineer.
• Familiarity with LNG bunkering operations is an advantage.
• Good command of English.
• Availability to join in December 2026.
