Job Description

Atlas NextWave is recruiting an experienced Second Cook to join a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) operating in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will assist with daily galley operations, food preparation, meal service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with onboard catering standards.

This opportunity may lead to continued employment in the vessel rotation while the UK project remains active.

Available Joining Dates

• 2 December – 30 December 2026
• 16 December 2026 – 13 January 2027
• 30 December 2026 – 27 January 2027

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Second Cook or in a similar onboard catering role
• Valid UK visa or legal right to work in the United Kingdom
• Valid certificates and documents required for the position
• Two most recent appraisals
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and galley safety procedures
