United Philippine Lines (UPL) is urgently hiring Assistant Cooks to join international cruise lines. Candidates should have relevant culinary experience and be willing to support daily food preparation and galley operations as part of an international team.

The role involves assisting senior chefs, preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following established food safety and vessel HSE procedures. Deployment is urgent, with employment conditions determined by company and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with food preparation and cooking according to assigned duties.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain kitchen workstations.
• Support senior chefs during daily galley operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food hygiene procedures.
• Comply with vessel safety requirements and work effectively with the culinary team.

Requirements:

• Valid passport.
• Valid maritime documents.
• Valid STCW certification.
• Relevant culinary experience as an Assistant Cook or in a similar position.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling.
• Good teamwork skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in an international cruise ship environment.
