2nd Engineer for VLCC Vessel

Job Description

Bluejacketship Management Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting a qualified Second Engineer for a VLCC tanker takeover.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in supervising engine-room operations.
• Monitor and maintain propulsion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate machinery repairs.
• Supervise engine-room tasks and enforce safe working practices.
• Maintain technical records and report machinery defects.

Requirements

• Valid Second Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Panama.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Proven experience on large-GRT tankers.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Complete and valid seafarer’s documents.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 8,000–11,500 per month
• Joining: 2 November 2026
• Location: Singapore
