Job Description

Sheffield Energies is seeking a 3rd Engineer to join a deepwater pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

The successful candidate will assist with the operation, inspection and maintenance of engine-room machinery, auxiliary systems and equipment, supporting safe and efficient vessel operations.

Requirements

• Previous 3rd Engineer experience on offshore or construction vessels preferred.
• Valid engineering Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Practical knowledge of engine-room machinery and maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
• Available to join in December 2026, subject to client approval.
• Expatriate candidates preferred for officer positions.
