Job Description

TOS People is recruiting an experienced Crane Operator for an offshore Jack-Up Barge project.

The successful candidate will operate the assigned crane within the scope of their training and certification and support safe lifting activities in accordance with approved procedures and offshore project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the crane safely in accordance with approved procedures.
• Conduct pre-use checks and monitor crane condition.
• Execute lifting operations in accordance with approved lift plans.
• Coordinate with riggers, deck personnel, and lifting supervisors.
• Inspect and report defects affecting crane operation.
• Maintain operational logs and relevant equipment records.
• Follow lifting procedures, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and HSE requirements.
• Stop work and report unsafe conditions when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Crane Operator on Jack-Up Barges or similar offshore installations.
• Valid Crane Operator Certificate appropriate to the crane type and assigned duties.
• Valid STCW certificates and other maritime documents, where applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of offshore lifting operations and safe crane practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a rigging team.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for offshore mobilisation as required.
