Job Description

Apex Crew Management is recruiting an experienced Chief Officer for a non-DP Supply Vessel. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the same rank on supply vessels, with strong deck management skills and a thorough understanding of onboard safety procedures. Candidates with relevant UAE experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Master with navigation, vessel operations, and safe passage planning.
• Supervise deck crew and coordinate deck maintenance and operational activities.
• Oversee cargo, mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maritime regulations.
• Maintain deck records, safety documentation, and inspection readiness.
• Support crew training, emergency drills, and onboard safety practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Officer on Supply Vessels.
• Relevant UAE experience is preferred.
• Valid Certificate of Competency and applicable endorsements.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
