Chief Officer for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking a qualified Chief Officer to support the Master in managing deck operations aboard a non-DP AHTS vessel. The role includes supervising deck crew, coordinating anchor-handling and towing activities, and maintaining safe operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Master with navigation and vessel operations.
• Supervise deck crew and routine maintenance activities.
• Coordinate anchor-handling, towing, and supply operations.
• Monitor deck equipment and ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain deck records and support emergency preparedness.

Requirements:

• Relevant Chief Officer Certificate of Competency.
• Previous experience on AHTS vessels, preferably non-DP.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
