Mechanical Engineer for Offshore Project (United Arab Emirates)

Job Description:
National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with proven operational experience in the marine industry. Experience with marine vessels, dredgers or related equipment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing maintenance and efficient operation of mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery faults and coordinating repair activities.
• Supporting preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Ensuring compliance with technical specifications and operational procedures.
• Maintaining safe and reliable operation of mechanical systems.

Requirements:

• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Proven operational experience in the marine industry
• Previous marine vessel / dredger experience preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills
• Relevant technical experience
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow technical and HSE requirements
• Relevant client approvals are an advantage
