Bosun for TSHD Vessel (UK)

Job Description:
Recruitment for an experienced Bosun to join a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) operating from London Gateway, UK. The initial contract is 6 weeks, with a possibility of continuing on a permanent rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising deck crew and coordinating daily deck operations.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring and cargo/deck operations.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of deck equipment and machinery.
• Supporting safe dredging and vessel operations.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW II/5 certification.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous Bosun experience on dredgers/TSHD vessels preferred.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
