Job Description

TOS People is recruiting an experienced Bosun to join a Jack-Up Barge offshore project.

The successful candidate will supervise deck ratings, coordinate deck operations, and support equipment maintenance, rigging, mooring, and other assigned offshore activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise deck ratings and organize daily deck work.
• Coordinate deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, rigging, and lifting activities.
• Inspect deck equipment and report defects.
• Ensure the correct handling and storage of deck tools and equipment.
• Support offshore operations in accordance with approved procedures.
• Maintain safe working areas and participate in safety drills.
• Ensure compliance with onboard HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bosun on Jack-Up Barges.
• Valid maritime certificates and deck-rating qualifications appropriate to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
• Valid Seaman's Book and medical fitness certificate, where applicable.
• Good knowledge of deck maintenance, rigging, and safe working practices.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for offshore mobilisation as required.
