Job Description

Augustea Ship Manning Philippines Inc. is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join its Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) operations.

Applications are invited for deck, engine, electrical, technical, and catering positions. Candidates with previous experience working onboard cutter suction dredgers are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must possess qualifications and valid certificates appropriate to their applied positions, along with relevant vessel experience.

Deck Department

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Deck Department

• Supervise and perform deck operations in accordance with the vessel's operational requirements.

• Assist with dredging operations, vessel positioning, and related marine activities as applicable to the assigned rank.

• Maintain deck equipment, mooring arrangements, and lifesaving appliances.

• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.

Engine Department

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment.

• Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical faults.

• Support the safe and efficient operation of dredging-related machinery and systems.

• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment defects.

Electrical & Technical Department

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment, control systems, and technical installations.

• Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

• Support the safe operation of electrical and air-conditioning systems, as applicable.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation and equipment records.

Catering Department

• Prepare meals and assist with galley operations according to onboard requirements.

• Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and safe food-storage practices.

• Support catering services and maintain accommodation and mess areas, as applicable to the position.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the position applied for.

• Previous Cutter Suction Dredger vessel experience is required or strongly preferred, depending on the position.

• Valid Seaman's Book, where applicable.

• Valid Certificate of Competency, professional licenses, and STCW certificates relevant to the applied rank.

• Valid medical fitness certificate.

• Relevant technical qualifications for engineering, electrical, and technical positions.

• Good English communication skills.

• Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively as part of a professional vessel crew.

• Availability to meet the company's joining requirements.
