Job Description

Navis is seeking an experienced 3rd Officer / DPO to join an MPSV DP3 operating in the North Sea.

The vessel is a 2016-built Norwegian-flagged MPSV with a GRT of 12,652 and a 250-tonne AHC crane. The successful candidate must hold an Officer of the Watch licence, DP Full certification, and HUET with CA-EBS.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform navigational and bridge watchkeeping duties as assigned.
• Conduct DP operations in accordance with company procedures and applicable DP standards.
• Assist with safe navigation and positioning of the MPSV during offshore operations.
• Monitor bridge, navigation, communication, and DP equipment.
• Participate in emergency drills and maintain high standards of onboard safety.
• Support offshore and crane-related operations as required.

Requirements

• Officer of the Watch (OOW) Licence – mandatory.
• DP Full Certificate – mandatory.
• HUET with CA-EBS – mandatory.
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of 3rd Officer/DPO.
• Experience on MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessels – mandatory.
• Valid CoC, endorsement, and all required STCW certificates.
• Valid passport and seaman’s book.
• Valid medical certificate.
• References from previous employers.
• Candidates must meet the employer’s stated COVID-19 vaccination requirement.
• Good English communication skills.
