Job Description
Oceanic Star Shipping is urgently seeking qualified Officers, Engineers, and Ratings for immediate deployment on Bunker Tanker vessels. Candidates will join a professional tanker fleet involved in fuel transportation and bunkering services. The company is looking for experienced maritime personnel who can maintain high standards of safety, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance while working in an international shipboard environment.
Panama Certificate of Competency (COC) holders for Officer and Engineer positions are accepted.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting safe vessel navigation, cargo handling, and bunkering operations.
- Maintaining machinery, electrical systems, and onboard equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Participating in emergency drills, inspections, and routine maintenance activities.
- Supporting efficient vessel operations and maintaining accurate operational records.
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Relevant Certificate of Competency for officer and engineer positions
- Previous tanker or similar vessel experience preferred
- Panama COC accepted for Officers and Engineers
- Ability to join at short notice
