Job Description

FOSCON Shipmanagement Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced seafarers to join a Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC) operating on worldwide trading routes.

The company is recruiting personnel for deck, engine, gas operations, and catering departments. Applicants must hold a valid U.S. visa and meet the relevant qualifications and experience requirements for their applied positions.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform duties according to the assigned rank and department.
• Support safe navigation, cargo handling, and vessel operations.
• Maintain engine-room machinery and technical equipment as applicable.
• Follow gas carrier safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.
• Maintain onboard hygiene and food safety standards for catering positions.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and required professional documents.
• Relevant experience in the rank applied for.
• Previous gas carrier or VLGC experience, where required by the employer.
• Valid U.S. visa is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
• Chief Cook applicants must have experience preparing Korean cuisine.
