Fitter for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently hiring an experienced Fitter for its Container Carrier fleet.

The Fitter will support the engineering department with mechanical repairs, maintenance, fabrication, and troubleshooting of vessel machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Perform fitting and fabrication work.
• Assist with machinery troubleshooting.
• Support planned and corrective maintenance.
• Follow safe working practices and company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fitter
• Relevant Container Carrier experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
