Fitter for Oil Tanker Vessel (UAE)

Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting an experienced Fitter to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The Fitter will support the engineering department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting of vessel machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with machinery troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Perform fitting, fabrication, and repair work as required.
• Support planned maintenance activities.
• Maintain safe working practices during all engineering operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fitter
• Relevant marine / tanker experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant seafarer's documentation
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UAE VOA preferred
