Chief Officer for Tanker / Bulk Carrier / Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Minerva Marine Agency, Inc. is seeking experienced Chief Officers to support safe navigation, cargo operations, and deck department management across its tanker, bulk, and container vessel fleet.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Master in the safe navigation and overall operation of the vessel.
• Plan and supervise cargo loading, stowage, and discharging operations.
• Manage deck maintenance and supervise deck officers and ratings.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Maintain accurate deck, cargo, and safety records.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience on the applicable vessel type.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Complete and valid seafarer’s documents and certificates.
