AB for Ro-Ro Vessel

Job Description

Anglo-Eastern is recruiting 8 Able Seamen for Ro-Ro vessels. The position involves supporting safe and efficient deck operations, vessel maintenance, cargo-related activities, mooring operations, and general seamanship duties in accordance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, chipping, and preservation work.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and unmooring operations.
• Supporting cargo and Ro-Ro deck operations as instructed.
• Handling deck equipment and assisting during safety and emergency operations.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment onboard.

Requirements

• Valid AB Certificate of Competency / qualification.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book and passport.
• Relevant experience as an Able Seaman on Ro-Ro or similar vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
