Cook for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare meals and maintain catering and hygiene standards aboard an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily meals for officers and crew.
• Plan menus and manage food provisions and galley supplies.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safe food handling.
• Monitor food storage, stock levels, and galley inventory.
• Ensure galley equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook aboard a vessel is preferred.
• Relevant food hygiene and safety certificates, as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as required.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.
