Chief Cook for Oil Tanker Vessel (UAE)

Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting a qualified Chief Cook to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The Chief Cook will be responsible for the preparation of meals for the crew and maintaining high standards of galley hygiene, food safety, food storage, and onboard catering operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily meals for the vessel's crew.
• Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and food safety.
• Manage food provisions, storage, and stock rotation.
• Maintain galley equipment and working areas.
• Follow vessel catering procedures and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant Chief Cook / Cook certification
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Previous vessel catering experience
• Oil tanker experience preferred
• Relevant food hygiene certification
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid UAE VOA preferred
