Job Description:
Staff Power Group is currently recruiting an experienced Rigger for an offshore assignment involving cable lay / jointing operations. The position is scheduled to start on 28 August 2026 for a 2-week contract, with mobilisation from Rosyth or Blyth.
Open Position:
Rigger – Offshore Cable Lay / Jointing
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out offshore rigging and lifting operations
• Supporting cable lay and jointing activities
• Preparing, securing, and handling loads and lifting equipment
• Working safely alongside deck and offshore project teams
• Following all relevant offshore lifting and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Rigger Competence Stage 3 – mandatory
• Valid ENG1 Medical
• Valid Offshore Survival certification
• Previous Cable Lay / Jointing experience – mandatory
• Relevant offshore experience
• Availability to mobilise on 28 August 2026
