Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Motorman to join a Subsea Rock Installation Vessel operating in UK waters. The position is for a 6-week offshore assignment, with joining scheduled for 26 August 2026.
The successful candidate will support the engine department with machinery operation, routine maintenance, lubrication, and general engine-room duties. A valid UK Work Permit is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out routine lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of engine-room equipment.
Assist with planned maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Monitor machinery and report defects or abnormalities to the engineering team.
Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Motorman
Valid UK Work Permit – Mandatory
Valid COC II/5
Valid Basic STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good English communication skills
Offshore / vessel experience is preferred
Availability to join on 26 August 2026
