Job Description:
Faststream Recruitment Group is urgently seeking an experienced Motorman to join a DP2 Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) operating in the United Kingdom. This is an immediate mobilisation opportunity for a qualified engine room professional with offshore experience. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department in the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the vessel's machinery while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of engine room machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems.
Monitor engine room equipment and report any faults or abnormalities to engineering officers.
Maintain engine room cleanliness and support planned maintenance activities.
Follow company HSE policies and international maritime regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Right to live and work in the United Kingdom is mandatory.
Previous experience as a Motorman on offshore vessels, preferably DP2 or similar vessel types.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
