Location: Mozambique
We are currently seeking an experienced Indonesian Barge Master to join a Non-Self-Propelled Deck Barge (Winbuild 1801) operating on an offshore project in Mozambique. The selected candidate will act as Person in Command (PIC) of the barge, ensuring safe operations related to stability, ballast control, deck cargo handling, and offshore support activities.
This role is suitable for professionals with strong hands-on experience on non-self-propelled barges, solid knowledge of barge operations, and the ability to work independently in an offshore project environment.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Acting as PIC (Person in Command) for the non-self-propelled barge
• Managing barge stability, ballast control, and draft monitoring
• Supervising deck cargo operations and offshore support activities
• Coordinating with tugs, offshore teams, and project stakeholders
• Ensuring full compliance with safety procedures and operational standards

• Indonesian nationality (mandatory)
• Proven experience as Barge Master / Tow Master on non-self-propelled barges
• Strong background with Non-Self-Propelled Vessels
• Solid knowledge of barge stability and ballast systems
• Experience with deck cargo handling and offshore support operations
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
