Job Description
A maritime company is currently seeking qualified and experienced seafarers to join Research Vessels supporting scientific expeditions, offshore surveys, and marine research projects worldwide.
Successful candidates will support safe vessel navigation, engineering operations, scientific equipment handling, offshore research activities, deck maintenance, and onboard catering while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, STCW requirements, and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for maritime professionals with previous research vessel or offshore vessel experience who are interested in supporting international marine research operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Support safe research vessel operations during scientific missions
- Perform navigational and engine room watchkeeping duties according to rank
- Assist with scientific equipment deployment and recovery
- Support offshore research and survey operations
- Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, and electrical systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair work
- Provide medical support onboard (Medic)
- Prepare meals and maintain galley hygiene standards (Catering Department)
- Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures
- Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard
Requirements
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for officer and engineer positions
- Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
- Previous experience onboard Research Vessels or Offshore Vessels preferred
- Ability to support scientific operations and marine research equipment handling
- Good English communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness
- Excellent teamwork and adaptability in research environments
- Physically and medically fit for sea service
