Job Description

PT. Winning Logistics Ship Management Service is currently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers to join its Harbour Tug operations in Guinea, West Africa.

The company is seeking experienced Masters, deck officers, engineering officers, and ratings with proven harbour tug experience. Candidates with practical experience operating Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) and Z-Peller (Schottel) tug vessels are particularly encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates will support safe harbour, towing, manoeuvring, and marine operations while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and operational efficiency.

• 3rd Engineer – ATT III Management

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned rank, duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures
• Conduct safe harbour tug, towing, berthing, unberthing, and manoeuvring operations
• Operate and monitor ASD / Z-Peller propulsion systems where applicable
• Carry out bridge watchkeeping, navigation, and marine operations according to rank
• Operate, inspect, and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, and technical equipment
• Perform planned maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Support mooring, towing, and harbour assistance operations
• Follow company HSE procedures and applicable maritime regulations
• Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and onboard safety meetings
• Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard

Requirements

General Requirements

• Proven experience in the same rank / position
• Previous Harbour Tug experience is mandatory
• Experience with Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) tugs preferred
• Experience with Z-Peller / Schottel propulsion systems required / preferred
• Valid COC, COP, and relevant maritime documents
• All COC/COP and relevant documents must have a minimum of 18 months validity
• Valid BST MSC 560
• Good English speaking and communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in Guinea, West Africa
• Physically and medically fit for sea service

Position-Specific Requirements

Master – ANT III Management
• Valid ANT III Management Certificate
• Proven Master experience on Harbour Tugs
• Strong harbour manoeuvring, towing, and vessel-management skills
• ASD / Z-Peller experience preferred

Chief Officer – ANT III Management
• Valid ANT III Management qualification
• Previous Chief Officer experience on Harbour Tugs
• Strong deck, towing, and mooring experience

2nd Officer – ANT III Operational
• Valid ANT III Operational qualification
• Previous 2nd Officer experience on Harbour Tugs
• Good navigation and bridge watchkeeping skills

Chief Engineer – ATT III Management
• Valid ATT III Management qualification
• Proven Chief Engineer experience on Harbour Tugs
• Strong knowledge of propulsion and auxiliary machinery

2nd Engineer – ATT III Management
• Valid ATT III Management qualification
• Previous 2nd Engineer experience on Harbour Tugs
• Strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills

3rd Engineer – ATT III Management
• Valid ATT III Management qualification
• Previous 3rd Engineer experience on Harbour Tugs
• Engine-room watchkeeping and maintenance experience

Oiler – Able Engine
• Valid Able Engine qualification / certification
• Previous Oiler experience on Harbour Tugs
• Strong engine-room and machinery maintenance skills

AB – Able Deck
• Valid Able Deck certification
• Previous AB experience on Harbour Tugs
• Experience with mooring, towing, deck maintenance, and harbour operations

AB Cook – Able Deck Cook Certificate
• Valid Able Deck certification
• Valid Able Deck Cook Certificate
• Previous combined AB / Cook experience preferred
• Ability to perform deck duties and prepare meals for the crew
