Job Description

PT. BCP is seeking qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join its AHTS and Crewboat vessels operating in the UAE.

Applications are invited from experienced deck officers, engineering personnel, and catering crew. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, good English communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an offshore marine environment.

Successful applicants will work on a 6-month-on / 1-month-off contract and receive a 2-year UAE residence visa.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Master

• Take overall responsibility for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
• Supervise crew, vessel operations, and compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure adherence to applicable maritime safety regulations and onboard emergency procedures.
• Coordinate offshore operations and maintain communication with relevant parties.

Second Officer (2/O)

• Assist with passage planning, navigation, and watchkeeping duties.
• Maintain navigational equipment, charts, and relevant records.
• Support safe vessel operations and participate in emergency drills.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions from senior officers.

Chief Engineer (CE)

• Supervise the engine department and ensure the safe operation of machinery.
• Manage maintenance, inspections, and repairs of main engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain engineering records.
• Ensure compliance with engine-room safety procedures.

Able Seaman (AB)

• Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and vessel operations.
• Support deck equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions from deck officers.

Oiler

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Monitor lubrication, machinery conditions, and equipment performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and maintain engine-room cleanliness.
• Report equipment abnormalities to engineering officers.

Cook

• Prepare meals for officers and crew.
• Maintain galley cleanliness and food hygiene standards.
• Manage food storage and assist with provisions.
• Follow onboard catering and safety procedures.

Steward / Messman

• Assist with meal service and general catering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness in the mess room and assigned accommodation areas.
• Support the Cook with galley housekeeping and provision handling.
• Follow onboard hygiene and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in the position applied for.
• Previous AHTS, crewboat, or other relevant offshore vessel experience.
• Valid Seaman's Book and maritime certificates appropriate to the applied position.
• Valid STCW certificates and professional qualifications, where applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good command of English and effective communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work as part of a professional crew.
• Willingness to work on a 6-month-on / 1-month-off rotation.
• Availability to work in the UAE and meet the employer's joining requirements.
