Job Description

Apremar Tunisia, a certified crewing agency in Tunisia operating in accordance with Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) standards, is recruiting offshore crew members for various deck and engine positions.

Qualified and motivated seafarers with relevant offshore experience, valid maritime certificates, and a strong commitment to safety are invited to apply. Candidates from all ranks within the deck and engine departments are welcome to submit their applications.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out deck or engine department duties according to the assigned rank.
• Supporting safe vessel operations, maintenance, and equipment inspections.
• Following instructions from senior officers and complying with company procedures.
• Participating in emergency drills and onboard safety activities.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, environmental protection, and professional conduct.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and experience for the applied position.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) or Certificate of Proficiency (CoP), as applicable to the rank.
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Previous offshore vessel experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural crew.
• Availability to comply with the joining schedule and contract requirements.

Additional vessel-specific certificates, offshore safety training, and experience may be required depending on the position.
