Job Description
An experienced Deck Foreman is urgently required for an offshore assignment in Qatar. The successful candidate must have strong offshore operational experience and proven experience working on barges.
The client requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Deck Foreman rank. Candidates must also hold valid Rigger Stage 3 and Banksman & Slinger Stage 3 certifications.
The position is available for immediate joining, offering an opportunity to work on an offshore project in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day deck operations onboard the barge.
- Lead deck crew during lifting, rigging, cargo handling, and other offshore activities.
- Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, banksmen, and other offshore personnel.
- Inspect lifting gear and deck equipment and report defects or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure compliance with offshore safety and company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Deck Foreman – client requirement.
- Strong and proven offshore operational experience – mandatory.
- Previous barge experience – required/preferred.
- Valid Rigger Stage 3 certification.
- Valid Banksman & Slinger Stage 3 certification.
- Valid relevant offshore certificates and documentation.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Ability to join immediately.
