Job Description:
OSM Shipping Phils., Inc. is looking for qualified and experienced Electro-Technical Rating (ETR) to join offshore operations. Candidates with relevant offshore and DP vessel experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will assist the ETO and engineering team with electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
Support inspections and preventive maintenance of generators, motors, switchboards, and electrical systems.
Assist the ETO with troubleshooting and rectification of electrical faults.
Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
Follow all onboard electrical safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Electro-Technical Rating (ETR)
Relevant offshore vessel experience preferred
DP / offshore vessel experience is an advantage
Valid and complete onboard documents
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ETR certification/COP
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's book and passport
Must meet the qualification requirements for the position
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
