Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced 2nd Officer / DPO to join a Cable Laying Vessel (CLV) for an offshore project commencing on 20 October 2026.

The successful candidate will support bridge operations, navigation and Dynamic Positioning activities while contributing to the safe and efficient execution of offshore cable-laying operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bridge watchkeeping and navigation duties.
• Conduct DP operations in accordance with vessel procedures.
• Support safe vessel maneuvering and offshore project activities.
• Monitor and maintain bridge and navigation equipment.
• Assist with cable-laying operations and vessel positioning as required.
• Participate in toolbox talks, drills and emergency procedures.
• Follow company HSE, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain accurate bridge and operational records.

Requirements

• Valid OOW / 2nd Officer Certificate of Competency.
• DP Unlimited – mandatory.
• GWO Sea Survival – mandatory.
• BOSIET – mandatory.
• B1 Wind Activities – mandatory.
• EU nationality – mandatory.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant offshore / vessel experience.
• Good command of English.
• Availability to join on 20 October 2026.
