Trading Area: European Union (EU)
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Mate DPO to join a Heavy Lift Vessel operating within the EU. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe navigation, DP operations, and supporting heavy lift activities in accordance with company procedures, IMCA guidelines, and international maritime regulations.
This role is ideal for an officer with proven heavy lift vessel experience, strong DP competence, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork in offshore operations.
• Start Date: 3rd March
• Rotation: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off (regular rotation)
• Watchkeeping duties as Officer of the Watch (OOW)
• Dynamic Positioning operations during offshore and heavy lift activities
• Assisting with passage planning, navigation, and safety procedures
• Supporting deck operations related to heavy lifting and project execution
• Ensuring compliance with HSE, ISM, and company operational standards
• Effective communication with bridge team and offshore project personnel
• Valid OOW Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• DP Unlimited Certificate
• Valid BOSIET
• GWO Sea Survival
• GWO Working at Heights
• Proven Heavy Lift vessel experience
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• Good command of English language
