Job Description:
We are currently looking for 2 experienced Deckhands to join a Backhoe Dredger operating in Portugal.
The successful candidates will support daily deck and dredging operations, assist with vessel maintenance, and work closely with the deck and dredging teams to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the assignment.
Previous dredging experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out general deck operations and maintenance.
- Assisting with dredging-related deck activities.
- Supporting mooring, anchoring, and vessel operations.
- Maintaining deck equipment and work areas.
- Following onboard safety procedures and instructions from deck officers.
Requirements:
- Previous dredging experience is mandatory.
- Relevant Deckhand experience.
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Availability for the full assignment period.
- Ready to join from 07 September 2026.
