Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced AB / Crane Operator to join a Norwegian-flagged SCOV DP3 vessel operating in the North Sea.

The successful candidate will perform combined Able Seaman and offshore crane-operation duties and must have extensive experience onboard MPSV, OCV or DSV vessels. Due to the vessel's flag-specific requirements, only candidates meeting the nationality and EU residency criteria will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all deck duties associated with the AB position.
• Safely operate the offshore crane in accordance with approved lifting procedures.
• Conduct lifting and cargo-handling operations.
• Assist with deck, mooring and offshore project activities.
• Carry out inspections and routine maintenance of crane and deck equipment.
• Follow lifting plans, risk assessments and permit-to-work procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks, emergency drills and safety activities.
• Maintain safe working conditions and report defects or unsafe situations.
• Comply with company SMS, HSE and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Valid EU passport – mandatory, OR Ukrainian nationality with a valid EU residence permit.
• First Class Seaman License – mandatory.
• Valid Crane Operator's Certificate, one of the following:
  • Sparrows Stage 3
  • EnerMech Stage 3
  • G5
  • AIS Survivex
• HUET with CA-EBS – mandatory.
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels in the rank of AB / Crane Operator.
• Valid COC / Endorsement and all applicable STCW certificates.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Good command of English.
• Relevant offshore vessel experience.
• Availability to join on 23 September 2026.
