Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Master / SDPO to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the UAE.
The position is offered on a 60–90 day contract with an ASAP joining date. The successful candidate must hold a valid Master License and DP Full certification, with extensive experience in a similar position and vessel type. ADNOC-approved candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Taking overall command of the vessel and ensuring safe navigation and operations.
- Supervising deck operations, including anchor handling and offshore activities.
- Managing DP operations and ensuring compliance with DP procedures and safety requirements.
- Leading and coordinating the vessel's crew and maintaining high standards of onboard safety.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, HSE standards, and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Master License.
- Valid DP Full Certificate.
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar types of vessels in the rank of Chief Officer / SDPO.
- ADNOC approval is preferred.
- Valid COC and Endorsement.
- All valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Passport.
- Valid Seaman's Book.
- Valid DP Log Book with documented DP/sea service.
- Valid Medical Certificate.
- References from previous employers.
- Marlins Test – minimum 80% in all sections.
- Good English communication skills.
