Job Description
Navis Crew Management is currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a CONRO (Container Roll-on/Roll-off) Vessel operating on worldwide trading routes.
The successful candidate will assist the Master in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, supervise deck operations, manage cargo loading and securing, oversee stability and ballast operations, and ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE standards.
This opportunity is ideal for Chief Officers with extensive experience onboard CONRO or RO-RO vessels.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Master with vessel navigation and overall ship management
- Supervise deck officers and ratings
- Plan and oversee cargo loading, unloading, and securing operations
- Monitor ballast, stability, and trim calculations
- Coordinate mooring, anchoring, and port operations
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures
- Conduct emergency drills and onboard safety meetings
- Maintain navigational publications, deck documentation, and statutory certificates
- Promote safe and efficient vessel operations at all times
Requirements
- Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Officer
- Previous RO-RO vessel experience is mandatory
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package
- Valid Flag State Endorsement
- Valid passport
- Valid seaman book
- Valid medical certificate
- Previous employer references
- Seaman's book copies confirming sea service
- Good English communication skills
- Strong leadership, cargo planning, and ship management skills
- Physically and medically fit for sea service
