Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a DP2 Jack-Up Barge operating in the UAE. This is a short-term contract with excellent daily wages. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering operations on board, ensuring safe and efficient vessel performance. The ideal candidate must have prior experience on self-propelled Jack-Up Barges and hold the necessary certifications. ADNOC-approved candidates will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Manage and supervise all engineering operations on board the Jack-Up Barge
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Maintain all machinery and technical equipment in optimal working condition
• Monitor fuel consumption and operational efficiency
• Report directly to the Vessel Manager and participate in regular safety meetings

Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer’s License
• All relevant STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 24–36 months experience as Chief Engineer on self-propelled Jack-Up Barges
• ADNOC-approved candidates preferred
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19

• Salary: 700–800 USD per day
