Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a DP2 Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel operating in UAE waters. The vessel is engaged in offshore anchor handling, towing, and supply operations supporting oil and gas projects.

The Chief Engineer will be fully responsible for the management and safe operation of the engine department, ensuring optimal performance of propulsion, power generation, and DP-related systems. Strong leadership skills, proven DP vessel experience, and offshore operational background are essential. ADNOC-approved candidates will be given preference.

Immediate joining is required.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Overall management of the engine department and engine room personnel
 • Ensuring safe and efficient operation of main engines, thrusters, generators, and auxiliary systems
 • Supervising maintenance and repair of DP-related machinery and propulsion systems
 • Monitoring and documenting DP hours and machinery performance
 • Ensuring compliance with company safety management system, flag state, and client requirements

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
 • Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
 • Proficiency in English communication
 • Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
 • DPVM Certificate
 • Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience in rank as Chief Engineer on similar AHTS DP2 vessels
 • Minimum 1000 documented DP hours
 • ADNOC approval is preferable
 • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: 60–90 days
 • Salary: 400 USD per day
