Chief Engineer / DPVM for W2W Vessel

Job Description

An experienced Chief Engineer / DPVM is required to manage the vessel's engineering department and oversee propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and technical systems supporting W2W operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise engine-room operations and engineering personnel.
• Ensure reliable operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor technical systems and maintain engineering records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency.
• DPVM qualification as applicable to the position.
• Experience in the same rank and on a W2W vessel.
• Experience on a vessel of at least 6,000 GT.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
