Job Description
A leading offshore vessel operator is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Able Seaman (AB) to join a newly built SOV DP2 vessel operating under the RIF flag.
The successful candidate will support offshore vessel operations, navigational watchkeeping, mooring activities, maintenance duties, cargo handling support, and safe deck operations while ensuring compliance with international maritime and offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for ratings with previous offshore, DP vessel, wind farm support vessel, or merchant vessel experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned
- Participate in mooring and anchoring operations
- Support offshore and vessel logistics activities
- Carry out deck maintenance, painting, and preservation work
- Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness
- Assist with cargo handling and lifting operations
- Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with company and maritime regulations
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid STCW certification package
- Valid seaman book and passport
- Valid medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Successful Marlins English Test
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Physically and medically fit for sea service
Professional Requirements
- Previous experience as Able Seaman preferred
- Offshore vessel experience is an advantage
- Banksman & Slinger Certificate is considered an advantage
- Familiarity with offshore deck operations and lifting activities preferred
