Job Description

Ires Ship Management LLP is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Able Seaman (AB) on board a DP2 Platform Supply Vessel. The successful candidate will assist with daily deck operations, offshore supply activities, cargo handling, and routine vessel maintenance while adhering to onboard safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
• Support cargo handling and offshore supply activities.
• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist deck officers and the Bosun with daily operations.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.

Requirements

• Valid Schengen visa — mandatory.
• Relevant Able Seaman qualifications and certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s book.
• Previous offshore vessel or PSV experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
