Able Seafarer Deck Rating for Reaserch Vessel (Qatar)

Job Description:
Seaworks Company is recruiting an experienced Able Seafarer Deck Rating (AB) to join a research vessel operating in Qatar. The AB will support deck operations, maintenance, mooring activities, and general vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo/deck operations.
• Support officers during vessel operations.
• Carry out inspections and maintenance of deck equipment.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Valid Able Seafarer Deck qualification, where applicable.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant sea-service experience.
• Good English communication skills.
