Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Jack-Up for an upcoming voyage from Curaçao to the United States.
The successful candidate will join ASAP for a short-term assignment of approximately 3–4 weeks. The role involves supporting deck operations, maintenance activities, mooring operations, and ensuring safe vessel operations throughout the voyage. A valid U.S. visa is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform deck maintenance and general seamanship duties.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of deck equipment.
Follow company safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Maintain housekeeping standards and support daily vessel operations.
Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Competency (COC)
Valid STCW certificates
Medical Fitness Certificate
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Valid U.S. Visa (mandatory)
Proficiency in English communication
