Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently seeking a 2nd Engineer to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (SPJUB) operating in Saudi Arabia.
This is an immediate joining opportunity for a 12–14 week contract. The vessel operates in a DP2 environment, and candidates must have substantial dynamic positioning experience.
Applicants must have a minimum of 730+ days of DP2 vessel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Assisting the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations
• Supervising maintenance and repair of propulsion and auxiliary systems
• Maintaining DP2-related machinery and systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
• Keeping accurate engine room documentation and reports
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Minimum 730+ days DP2 vessel experience
• DP Maintenance certificate
• H2S certificate
• Seaman’s Book
• Valid Passport
