Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Second Engineer to join a DP2 Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel (AHTS) operating in offshore fields in the UAE. The vessel is involved in offshore support operations including anchor handling, towing, and supply services, requiring reliable engineering operations and proper maintenance of DP-related systems.
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations, ensuring efficient performance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and supporting maintenance of Dynamic Positioning (DP) equipment. The contract duration is 60–90 days with ASAP joining.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and vessel systems
• Monitor and maintain Dynamic Positioning (DP) related equipment and engineering systems
• Supervise engine room crew and participate in planned maintenance programs
• Maintain engine room logs, maintenance records, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards

Requirements:
• Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate and DPVM (Dynamic Positioning Vessel Maintainer) Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Marlins English Test for Seafarers with minimum 60% in all sections
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 24 months experience as 2nd Engineer on Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel (AHTS) or similar vessels
• Minimum 500 DP hours
• ADNOC approval preferred (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company)
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
