Job Description:
KICM Maritime Corporation is seeking an experienced Pumpman to join a Crude Oil Suezmax Tanker. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with centrifugal pumps and will be responsible for supporting cargo pump operations, maintenance, and safe cargo handling onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and maintain cargo pumps and associated pumping equipment.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of centrifugal pumps and cargo systems.
Assist with loading, discharging, stripping, and other cargo operations.
Monitor pump-room equipment and report defects or abnormalities.
Follow tanker safety, cargo handling, and company procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pumpman
Centrifugal pump experience – Mandatory
Previous Crude Oil / Suezmax Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid tanker-related certificates as applicable
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Relevant experience in the same rank and vessel type
